POW-MIA Remembrance

As of August 2010, nearly 82,000 Americans who served in the military are still missing in action (MIA).  The search goes on to find and identify those who served to protect and defend the freedoms we enjoy in the United States of America.

POW/MIA Recognition Day is commemorated on the third Friday of September. This is the traditional day for that observance each year.

Ceremonies are held across the country in large and small cities, in major and minor league baseball parks, in veterans’ posts and chapters, on U.S. military bases & elsewhere

 To honor those who are still missing and remind us of their sacrifice,  here is an outstanding postcard that evokes the emotions.  The Front and back of the postcard are below…
