A Chaplain Speaks Out…
A Chaplain of the US Senate, Edwards Everett Hale was educated at Harvard, A Boston minister, noted scholar and one who believed in the government control of monopolies, had this to say about the US Senate when asked one day:
“Do you pray for the Senators, Dr. Hale?” he replied, “No, I look at the Senators, and pray for the country.”
I do hope he’s still praying for the country… Are you?
